Sounds like you continue being super productive, congratulations even if it wasn't what you wanted to work on. Good luck figuring out the structure/pacing of the story! For me, structure tends to be a thing that happens to the story once I'm editing it, unless a good structure happens to grow organically while I'm first-drafting, but obviously different writers do things really differently.
