Write Every Day: Day #11

Here's the post for December 11th.

Yesterday and today, I've been going through the prompts of Public Call and Yuletide, seeing about treats I might want to write. I've got several ideas now that I really want to write, and a few of them threaten to be long. Some require research. Send help! :-)

Today's writing

All of a sudden, I seem to have written about 1880 words on a possible treat. No idea how big the chances are of finishing that one by the deadline, because I'm not that far into the story yet... But I have fun, at least. Also tried a little bit of research for another possible treat, and brainstormed for others.

Canon revision and a little writing. It's still very slow going.

I don't know what these treats are, but wow, that's really awesome! Congratulations for an obviously good writing day.
I'm feeling better today, and we spent half of the day away with friends. But even with a clear head and enough time I wasn't much in the mood for writing. This seems to be a theme these days; perhaps I'm just too busy to find the right kind of leisure for proper story writing. I managed 400 words today, but they were forced, will go again with the next edit, and this time don't feel helpful to the story.

I usually love treat writing, but I'm not sure if I'll have enough time this year. I'd really love to write one or two... but first I should maybe edit my actual assignment into shape. /o\

1.1k on my Christmas fic today, which is also not exchange relevant but so much more fun to work on than doing the editing, sigh.

I know the feeling. I'm looking forward to Fandom_stocking opening up so I can write treats.

I got 480 on my Fullmetal Alchemist yule story and 370 on my steampunk original so not a bad night's work especially since I got started so late.

I wrote 2,000 words of a mock award for work, does that count? I also made words on a long LJ post, which hopefully does, too!
