Yay for edits, and for getting something done which you'd been handwaving too much. :-)

Taking walks is excellent! I used to regularly "take my stories out for walks" and while I don't do it as much expressly for story purposes, I still love taking walks, and still end up brainstorming many story things while I'm walking.
