Despite the threat of rain I managed to get out in the garden for a couple of hours, working in a different spot though, abandoning the ivy in favour of doing battle with the forsythia. It's so tall it's a menace, and there's overgrown hedge behind it somewhere, along with holly and a cotoneaster that also needs cutting back. Oh, and brambles too. Lots of brambles. *sigh*
