I snuck into ch 3 the hint at how I am pulling off the solution figured out yesterday to the problem described the day before; the rest of the solution is not yet written (and I may want to find a point more in the middle of the story to hint at it idk), but the time-sensitive part is ready to go

I will post ch 3 six minutes after midnight tomorrow, and I used a different contact point to check with one of the artists I commissioned months ago to make sure she knows that chapter is going up and she can post the art herself please (since I emailed her Monday and hadn't got a reply, and the other artist replied promptly) ETA we're good

I'm trying not to be upset with myself over how much less attention this novel-length is getting so far than other of my fics have gotten in similar time frames, see also, see also and note that the version not condensed for Twitter has ten bullet points, like part of why I'm upset with myself is I know I'm being irrational, [image: John Mulaney says "I also do not want to be doing what I am doing!"] (you see how well I am succeeding)

I submitted my guesses for [tumblr.com profile] whos-who-pt-2, way later than I wanted to (and I still ended up pasting the lists of which authors in each theme I hadn't a clue whose fics are whose into random dot org in order to submit a full slate of guesses), but more than a day before deadline (and on, most likely, Friday, all themes' author reveals, and then we can start discussing who got who right and wrong and why—I ain't admitting which of my guesses were random, though—and also I can post an unrelated thing I've been sitting on in order to not give away which Who's Who fic is mine)

I'm trying to figure out if an AO3 work skin will let me format paragraphs as hanging indents, because if so then the fic taking shape in my mind as an interview transcript can be formatted the way it looks in my head (now if only I could figure out what this character is meant to be interviewing these two characters about, and what all the second interviewee is talking about!)
