I like it, too! And I love how many of them have totally different practices and cultures when it comes to family, relationships and childbearing, for example. And how Humans are quite unimportant among all the other species. :-) It's such an easy way that a scifi book can give new perspectives and show us that the things our cultures keep saying are universal and eternal are actually just one possible way of doing things.
