So since I was mostly disappointed by the specials to begin with (and it's been less than a year since I last watched them), I figured I'd be happier with Ten if I didn't rewatch them right now.
What you should do is read THIS POST on End of Time. It is the best thing ever written on those episodes and gets right to the heart of it all. (Which would be Doctor/Master and eating all the scenery.)
