Ooh, my second public_call fic - a pinch hit I picked up because I wanted to write for almost every relationship in the request and because navaan is fabulous - just went live. Sharing it now. Also, thanks to imagine_peace for beta-reading!

Summary: Rose is back in her home universe, and she finds Martha and they go for adventures. As they should.




I'm excited because I've been wanting to write these two characters becoming friends for ages, and to subvert the way canon kind of sets them up against each other a lot. I've also toyed with the idea of shipping them, but when I was working on this fic, I realized I wanted it to be female friendship and that it was the natural way for the story. Judging by the first comment I had already, that choice definitely worked for at least one reader, so I'm happy.
