Write Every Day, Day #5
Today's kind of gotten away with me, but I suppose weekends can do that. I meant to do more writing, and I really need to get around to some non-WED posting in my journal again, but might be too tired for that tonight. I generally meant to do more things, but I was rather tired. On the other hand, I did a fair amount of walking again, I did grocery shopping (with appropriate hygienic precautions), and I cooked. A delicious pasta sauce that is even further improved by the fact that I found it in a delicious piece of fanfic. Yes, for real. Fandoms are amazing.
Today's Writing
Another day when I did my writing fairly early, and that felt good. I did some more free-writing, which then segued into some surprise poetry, and writing down notes/ideas for a novel idea I've been nursing for a while. After that I did some more writing on the current novel, again longhand in the notebook. I'm thinking I should soon go through what I've actually got in the notebook and type it up, or at least the parts that feel like I can use them.

You're posting every day--that is a lot of work! No wonder you're tired, and thanks for hosting this. : )
Wordcount: 700 (yay!)
Total wordcount on fic: 2500
Also I posted my filk song, and did editing on another fic after getting beta comments on it.

Yay, sounds like you had a lot of nice progress! Yay for posting as well. :-)

I got a couple more hours out in the garden, but first I got some writing done, then did a bit more after I came in again.
April 5th - 987 words. Two double drabbles, finished the fic I started yesterday, worked on the fic I started the day before (still needs a bit of work before posting), and started another random ficlet. Actually, it was supposed to be a drabble or a double drabble, but then it was 401 words and not finished, so that's another WiP to add to the pile I already have... I mentioned to someone else it's easier to start writing something than it is to finish.

Sounds great that you're getting in both writing and gardening!

Life sees even more tiring than usual at the moment. I suppose all te extra stress isn't helping.

I think I'm going to try this new pattern while I can, since I'm not physically in school and can write at lunchtime, for example.
Today, I added 730 words to the Bond/Q fic.

Stared at structure for a while before I decided that I still don't know if my timeline is too squished or not and the only way to determine that is to write all the scenes I need to happen in sequence and retcon the deadlines later. That decided, I wrote a little over 3 pages longhand to fill one of the next holes.

Structure is difficult! Sympathies! But yay for managing to fill one of the holes!

What was the fic / pasta sauce?
no subject
The fic was from the Penumbra Podcast, 5 times Peter Nureyev dressed up for Juno Steel, and 1 time he didn’t by SpaceJackalope, and the recipe was in the author's notes at the end of Chapter Two. Came for the ship and the sex, returned for the delicious eggplant and garlic pasta sauce with optional olives and bell pepper. I should probably write it down so I don't always get distracted reading the fic when I want to make the sauce.
(Although I didn't use quite enough garlic this time. Next time, I'll put in the proper amount again.)
