The seal webcam was less lucky this year than the previous years - for some reason the seals mostly preferred to dry themselves on other rocks, and there was mainly that one night when that one seal (called Moona by the researchers) decided to give us a nice showing. So it was luck that I happened to notice it. But the ospreys are there all the time at the moment - well, mama osprey and the chicks are, the daddy seems to be out looking for food most of the time, which is understandable as the chicks are eating a lot. They've grown so much in just a week! But watching their lives is fun - I also just spent a while watching mama osprey clean her wing feathers while the kids were waking up. :-)
(I should look up more animal icons - it doesn't feel proper to use cats or foxes when talking about birds.)
