I typed up the description of my nature outing last weekend from my diary, and rewrote it to work better as a travel writing exercise. I need to try doing this! I often collect ideas and impressions from travelling etc. for writing, and note them down as quick drafts. But writing a proper scene out of them would be much more useful and helpful, I think. Thanks for the inspiration! In addition to my currently usual editing, I wrote a bit over 1k for a possible new story, inspired by re-watching a movie.
