Ooh, that sounds lovely! I hope you enjoyed it! We don't even have real mountains in my country, though when I've had the chance, I've loved visiting some mountainous regions abroad (some parts of the Alps, for example, and I've been to northern Norway a couple of times).
Alibi sentence days are quite fine, and especially on mountain day trip days!
