wow, I'd forgotten much of Torchwood Season 1, so thanks for the reminder, especially about how fantastic "Captain Jack Harkness" was (SO good, my favourite ep of the season). Like you, I love darker, more angsty Torchwood Jack, and despite the more uneven nature of the series, actually preferred this side to him to the one that we first got to see in DW ♥
