I've been crafting a lot since the isolation started, too, though I have so much yarn for crocheting already I haven't needed to order any yet... And I mean, I'd have enough for years, but of course most of the things I want to crochet aren't things I can make with my current yarns. But I have a few ongoing projects that are still ongoing, so they don't need new yarn, at least. However, since I'm so new into embroidery/cross-stitch, I need more materials soon!
I should check out that podcast! I've seen Arne & Carlos's designs in magazines and stuff, it could be quite adorable to check out their podcast. And good luck with granny squares, I love crocheting squares. Yeah, blankets are quite a project - I have the squares for two unfinished ones in my yarn closet, though I'm thinking of making at least something with them soon - but it's also good for times of stress because you don't have to think hard about the pattern, but you still get variety from changing colours.
Sounds like you've been busy with good activities, at least! But I'm glad you managed some writing as well. It must be nice to be back to fiction-writing.
