Blessed solstice to you, too! Times like this, I can't help wondering what on earth my ancestors were thinking. *g* On the summers when it gets so abysmally hot in Germany, and we're gratefully holidaying in Sweden or Norway, I know why I would have moved there! ;o) We have the dreariest winter imaginable so far, although I don't complain as I don't have to shovel snow. It's mostly humid and foggy, or around freezing temperature, but I'm missing the sun. *highfives* for the teadrinker! :D I drink a lot of tea, too, of most kinds - black, green, herbal, spices, although I don't really care for fruit tees, Roibos or Honeybush and such. I'm so used to drinking black tea even in the evening I usually don't have any problems with it, thankfully. I don't think I could function without tea, even if it's just herbal.
Your edit sounds good, too. I've been very busy again today (cooking and canning red cabbage for preserves, baking, choir rehearsal), but still managed about 500 words of the first draft of my pinch hit. I don't know yet if I'm keeping this story idea, but at least the draft is promising enough. We'll see.
