Oh look I wrote a Classic Who ficlet! (Fic: Birds in Gear, rating: General audiences)

I finished and posted my first Classic Who fic, as an entry to the who_contest drabble challenge on the theme "Pets". (In this case, "drabble" means 550 words or less.) I hadn't written anything for this community before, but when I noticed the current challenge, this little ficlet with Jamie and Victoria encountering odd things just leaped into my mind, and I wanted to write it.

Write Every Day, September Day #24

Today, there were some anxieties and I had too little sleep, but at least I was somewhat recovered from yesterday's draining effect. And in the evening I've been feeling more settled again, and a walk outdoors made me feel better. It really is proper autumn, it's getting chilly enough that not only do I need a coat, I even needed to put on a scarf and gloves to go outdoors in the evening. And more and more leaves are turning red and yellow and all the shades in between. Also, when I got home, a beautiful full moon was just rising! This is one of my favourite times of the year.

Today's Writing

I got back the beta comments for the little Classic Who ficlet I'd written for who_contest, edited according to those comments, and edited some more to make it fit the word count limit. Then I spent a lot of time trying to come up with a title (titles are my bane) and posting it on AO3 and the community - it always takes a few tries to make sure the code is right, in both cases. I had ideas about other things to write, but I'm just too sleepy now.
