I've just totally forgotten to post about this, but the stockings went up on ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
fandom_stocking over the holidays, and my stocking is here. So feel free to stuff it with treats if you want! And of course look around the community for any other stockings that catch your attention. I've found it tremendously fun in the past, especially since it's all voluntary, so I don't need to feel as much pressure to create something.
I'm requesting characters, ships and things in the following fandoms:
- Doctor Who (classic, modern, a bit of Big Finish) & Torchwood
- Jane Austen novels
- Murderbot diaries
- and for non-fannish stuff, things like drama podcast recommendations, vegetarian & vegan recipes, queer history resources, short story recs, geeky knitting or crochet patterns
I have the impression the posting deadline is going to be pushed back a couple of weeks because the stockings went up so late, but I don't think I've seen a confirmation of that yet. I hope it'll be the case, anyway! I've now got around to gathering the stockings I'd like to treat, and while I probably won't get most of them done, hopefully some! I've got one ficlet in first draft phase, and another one building up in my thoughts.

trobadora's journal this month. Head over there if you feel like such a challenge ) would help you establish a habit. It's friendly, informal, without minimum word counts or anything, and no problems if you don't actually manage to write every day.
Oh, anddolorosa12 has a post-Yuletide friending meme here. I got many lovely new friends from last year's one, but so far I haven't had energy to write an entry of my own, and maybe I need a bit more time first to get to know everyone from the last friending memes I participated in. However, I wanted to point it out to anyone who'd like another opportunity to find new friends on Dreamwidth or other platforms. And you don't need to have participated in Yuletide, it's open for other people as well.
fandom_snowflake challenge is going on, and I've been thinking of participating, but I haven't had the energy to do so yet. I might do a few days in one post once I feel like writing up one. However, I enjoy all the posts that are appearing on my feed!
