Christmas!

Happy Christmas/Yule/other midwinter holiday/midsummer holiday if you're on the Southern Hemisphere/whatever you celebrate to everyone, friends and subscribers new and old! And if you don't celebrate anything, have a nice Wednesday (or Tuesday, if you're having that when you read this).

Also, not long until Yuletide probably goes live! I just thought today how awesome it is that the biggest fan fiction event of the year (at least in the circles I follow) is one for small fandoms! I don't often get into the really big fandoms - Doctor Who is the first and only big fandom I've had in ages - but I do collect obsessions with rarer and more niche canons and fandoms, and it's delightful that a fest celebrating them is the biggest fanfic event! May we all find great stories to read, come the reveals! May we not have left any embarrassing mistakes in ours that we didn't notice during editing!

Also, thank you for whoever kindly gifted me with a month of paid time on Dreamwidth! Sorry I didn't thank you earlier, I meant to but kept remembering it at inconvenient times. It made me very happy - I love keeping a paid account and having All The Icons, but I'm poor at the moment, so an extra month of paid time is a really nice surprise. ♥
