Strong Poison is a great one to start! I love the dynamics between that pair to pieces; but I shouldn't tell more at this point to avoid possible spoilers for you. *g* My own favourites are Busman's Honeymoon and Gaudy Night.

We had a great time with our friends, and on the 1st, the pinch-hit finally came along. It's not as good as I wanted it to be, but that sinusitis-fogged head really drained my mind and my creativity. But I got a decent story together, the recipient liked it, so all's well.
