All right, so from today on Write Every Day will continue at trobadora's journal! Head over there if you want to continue/start the challenge this month! Thanks to everyone who participated in December, I had fun hosting and would be glad to do so again at some point. I wonder if I'm going to miss everyone checking in at my journal. *g* It was also great to get new friends from it! As the tally now stands, out of December's participants trobadora, ysilme (who joined the challenge this month, glad to have you along!) and I held onto writing every single day of the month, and almost everyone who participated in December wrote on the vast majority of the days. Yay!

Thank you. :-) I don't mean I worry everyone will just disappear, but the one month's flurry of activity in my journal was unexpectedly fun. Well, perhaps now I'll have time to post other kind of entries more often!

Just popping in quickly - I'll probably need days to catch up with the missed suff of the last few days! *g*
I did write also yesterday, although I forgot to count - at least 100 words, probably more. I finished the pinch-hit today with 1800 words, but most was indeed written today. But I spent at least an hour with it yesterday, albeit quite distracted by a missing kitty after the fireworks (he just had found a new, completely disguised hiding-place. ;o) )

Thank you for joining in, it's been great to have you along, and to get to know you. :-) Ahh, animals and fireworks! Luckily back when my family had a dog, he was too big to hide in that difficult places, but a hiding kitty can fit into a much smaller place! Glad you found him after all. :-)

heh, sorry to disappoint you, if you'd thought you'd discovered another person familiar with the canon! i was just interested in seeing what my fellow write-every-dayers were doing with their Yuletides, and went looking. it sounds like an awesome canon, though!

And it's my turn to come down with an evil cold :(

No problem, was just wondering which it was. :-) I usually don't read fic in canons I don't know, but it's also interesting to see what people are writing. It's an awesome book, though, so if you ever feel like feel-good smart diverse scifi, I recommend having a go at it! Since my story is pre-canon, it doesn't spoil much or anything, but some things might be a bit hard to understand without the canon background, since I don't explain the alien species much or anything. But glad if you could follow it anyway. Sorry to hear you're getting sick! I hope it goes away soon. Shoo, shoo, evil cold! *waves ginger and garlic and honey*
