My partner just said literally almost the same thing about the dark, it came on kind of slowly and then all at once didn't it! Which I'm sure it probably does every year, but we hadn't been here long enough to get used to long days yet last year, so it feels super new still.
Put together my full zero-draft for my auexchange fic today, yay. That was the last delayed-by-computer-crash thing with a deadline that I needed to start, so I'm ahead for today but behind for the week but at least getting back on track. Also good on you finishing the letter, they're always such bigger chores than I expect. It took me days and days to finish hammering out mine. I have just (wisely I think) made my Yuletide decisions in advance by very deliberately using my rarepair and fandomgrowth sign ups as most of them because I have had it up to here with letters, and thus I just need to copy paste and do some light editing to be done with the darn thing.
