In Finland, you get a few months when it hardly gets dark at all or only does so around midnight This season the day/night ratio is changing pretty rapidly and it's the first time since April or thereabouts since it's been dark already after 9 pm, so it feels really surprising. Suddenly I have to think about whether I my bike has lights or if my coat has reflectors, and I've forgotten how to do so in between...

I really think my Yuletide's going to be a mixture of my Rare Pairs and Femslash Exchange sign-ups, and Public Call will be a mix up of my Femslash Exchange Doctor Who requests and I don't know, maybe last year's requests, because I don't want to write another Dear Writer letter for a few months! I like giving my assigned writer enough to work with, but it's hard work to do a good letter. I'd better not get into any new rare fandoms between now and the Yuletide sign-ups...
