I've got so many unread books from the library already, many more that I own, but I'm still totally incapable of going to a library to return books without borrowing new ones. *lol* I know that so well; it's been like this all the time for me while I still had a library card! I haven't had one for years, first because we lived too far away from a good library to make sense, and at the time I also worked in various bookshops and could borrow tons of sample copies every bookshop always gets AND discovered fanfiction, which severely limited the amount of books I was reading anyway. *g* Sometime later, I started with bookcrossing and collected a lot more books than I read all the time, too. I still have half a bookcase full of unread ones from that time... and although I haven't touched one for years I'm relcutant to pass them on already, because everytime I go through them I remember why I wanted to read them. *g* Of course, the fact that I rarely read printed books these days is a huge contributing factor, also that I didn't get a new library membership for our good local library, too. They do have a lot of digital media these days, but I can't read the ebooks on my kindle, and didn't have a tablet their app (necessary to use the media) works on. Now I have, though, and I'm about to finally get a membership and at least use the digital media. As we're living in a large metropolitan area, all the libraries of the area have joined for the digital media, and I can lend whatever is available in any of these, which is just plain awesome. Of course, this will neither help with working through my unread bookcrossing bookshelf as well as my own unread printed and ebooks... *sigh* but isn't that a delicious "problem" to have? :o) 733 words for me, a bit of drawer fic and a blog entry. I'm unfortunately caught up in some lovely fest reading - unfortunately insofar as it has put my research reading for the big WIP on hold, which I urgently need to change again. Ahem.
