I am trying something slightly new -- since my alibi "sentences" tend to turn into longer bits (my alibi sentence today turned into 176 words), I'm going to plan to write a minimum of 100 words of fiction a day. I'm hoping to write more, of course. Since an alibi sentence seems to be a good way to get myself to just start, I'm hoping it will go something like this: Alibi sentence => 100 words or more => elaboration with still more words => actual progress!
Anyway, today I wrote a bit on the Nice Bookshop novel, and worked on the nonfiction project.
