Today's writing

I wrote a little on the same fic I've been working on, and I edited the Yuletide fic a little. I might continue a bit in the evening, depending on when I get back and how I'm feeling. ETA: A bit more editing of the Yuletide story in the evening. Word count is starting to go down a bit as I get rid of unnecessary stuff. I hope I soon get to fixing the part that doesn't work, but not tonight.

I didn't manage to get into the right mind-set to actually write something useable. I wrote a token sentence on my original Christmas story I can't use because it's a completely different tone, and pondered ideas for the pinch-hit, but nothing else.

Glad you got it under control. :-) I know the feeling... For parts of yesterday I was despairing why I do this to myself, this being signing up for Yuletide. I just want it to be reveals already so I know if my recipient likes it, although I don't want it to be reveals yet because I still need to edit. *g*

I wrote like 1500 words yesterday and got my pinch hit in a few hours before it was due.I thought I had another day but I screwed up the time zone thing. I also sent it off to a kind soul to beta that I found on yulechat. Hopefully they will help me untangle it before the collection opens. Ha.

I spent today mulling over a treat. One of the things that went out as a pinch hit intrigued me. We'll see if I can figure out a story to write. And, maybe beat that other story into some acceptable format.

They are! *still tries to get main story into shape* I'm getting sceptical about my ability to do any of the treats I have ideas for, but we'll see. There's at least one I'd really like to do...

I made 1,000 words of treat today! and got some helpful edits on Yulefic! When I get back from the slopes everything is going up in one go ;)

Well, the physical health situation seems to have sorted itself out, and I'm just glad I didn't get properly sick. But thanks! I unfortunately have a tendency to not cope well with world events, for reasons. But I feel more balanced about everything now. Which means I'm basically focusing on fic, chocolate and tea and trying not to think about things too much.

Yay, good for writing! Sounds like it's going productively for you! Maybe I should go skiing as well and find myself very productive. :-D
