public_call. The nominations for the latter were very easy, as almost everything I wanted was already nominated and approved by the time I got around to doing mine. My nominations for Yuletide went through, so if I end up participating, they can have fun trying to match me with my ridiculously tiny fandom requests!
I'm a bit apprehensive about it, because I haven't written fanfic nor in English for some time, and also because my RL is kind of crazy and exhausting. But in both cases, the idea thrills me far too much. And I miss writing fanfic. It tends to make me try out different kind of things than I do in my original writing. Also, immediate readership and feedback is nice. And the possibility to get to know new people through shared tastes in fandom, too. So... probably I will do it. 1000 words can't be that hard, right?
I have a lot of things I'd like to post about, fannish and otherwise, but they might have to wait until I'm not as tired as though someone's punched holes in me. Ugh, I'm really not handling real life at the moment. Fandoms are so much better. But briefly: I've started watching Torchwood, have mixed feelings so far (ie. love some things, dislike some others) and will post at some point. I've been reading a lot of enjoyable books and want to write about them soon. They're also books which make me want to read more books. I miss watching Doctor Who, so I might just start watching S3 alterating with Torchwood S1. I'd also like to watch new episodes, I miss seeing DW episodes I haven't seen yet. But I'd like to rewatch all of Ten before I go on to Eleven. Hmm.
