Thirteen clip!

The BBC has released a short clip from the first new Doctor Who episode on the official YouTube channel. When it comes to spoilers, I'm of the camp "If it's been officially released by BBC / the creators, I'll probably watch it / read it / hear it; if it's not officially released then I want to know nothing of it". So I watched this one as soon as I could. You know, I actually really like Chibnall's "saying as little as possible" tactic because I like not knowing much when heading into the new series, but I also like getting a little appetizer like this now when there's not much time left to wait!

Putting it and my (oh so very lengthy and refined) reactions under the cut. In possible comments, please don't post any spoilers that aren't officially released stuff.

Also, I like Yaz and Ryan tons already as well.

I did wonder if it was the same one, because the length seemed to match. It's indeed so much fun! I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy this a lot...

Yeah, this was the clip that made me squee when the first teaser was a disappointment. I really prefer some actual content in this kind of thing! Something that tells me more than "this show and its main character exist" ...

I definitely enjoy trailers with content as well. The World Cup teaser was too little, but I enjoyed the first proper trailer with actual things being spoken and material from the show. It works for me to only have something this substantial pretty close to the air date, so I'm fine with it not being released earlier. :-) Right now is a good time to stoke my appetite, but doesn't have me analyzing it for three months and coming into the show with too many pre-conceived opinions on what she's going to be like. Because I've found I'm usually the happiest when I haven't formed many specific expectations. But we've discussed before how we're different with this. :-)
