Misadventures in baking

I tried to bake raisin biscuits tonight. I must have done something wrong, because I ended up with Shapeless Raisin Blobs instead.

They still taste all right, at least.

The taste is what's important though!

True, true. Though I think the taste could have been still better if they'd turned out right - I baked them a bit too long when I tried to get them to spread out as they should. They didn't burn, but they're too dry. Still, I ate about half of them in one evening (I only made one plateful). Maybe I'll just have to make more, to try to get it right...

Very true. They just would have been even better if I hadn't overbaked them in hoping to get them to spread out right. I must practice more, clearly.

Sympathies! At least they were still edible, which is not too bad in my book. ^^

True, true! I was very pleased they weren't charred, and gobbled up about half of them (I only made one plateful) in one evening.
