Write Every Day: Day #5

auroracloudFamily visiting for a couple of days now, but I brought my laptop with me, so no delays to posting. Winter (ie. snow) happened all of a sudden yesterday, but today the weather's been kind of awful, with hard cold winds and very slippery roads. Would be perfect for staying inside and writing, if my brain was a little less tired...
Today's writing
The neverending saga of my Yuletide fic continues. I wrote a few hundred words more, mostly a new beginning, which I think makes the story better but also requires more edits than I realised. I do wonder if this will ever be done. After a while I gave up and started reading a history book / biography that might serve as research for my novel-in-planning if you squint and look hard. I might see about trying something else yet, because I have the time, but I'm not sure what.Maybe another fic, maybe a little novel planning - I've got a writing exercise to do for writing class which could serve for that. ETA: Ended up being a bit more on the fic I began a couple of nights ago.
