Write Every Day, August Day #8

I was supposed to do all kinds of things today, but I was rather tired and lazy, and so spend the early part of the day not doing much, then went to visit my friend and stayed there until the evening, and after I got back and did a bit of walking and back yoga, I watched some Doctor Who. Well, I had a nice time, and I'm allowed an occasional lazy day on my holidays!

Today's Writing

I only ended up writing pretty late in the evening, and am tired now, so I only wrote a little under 200 words on my Rare Pair Fest fic. I hope tomorrow will be the day when I at least mostly finish the first draft. How about you all?

Lazy days are the best! I wrote a reasonable amount, mostly recreating everything I could remember of events from my zero/actual draft for the Big Bang fic that I lost many thousand words of in the crash. Sigh. But that means I'm 3/4 on recreated outlines, so one more and then I can go back to working on my rare pairs at least.

Yay for managing to recreate most things you lost, even if it sucks that you have to write them again. Good luck with getting everything back, and with your rare pairs!

Lazy days on holidays sound good to me! :D
We're just back from our tree-week holiday, so I'm calling in for the last days as well: I wrote every day during all of our trip, each day at my travel blog and on many days also a few or a couple of hundred words of a drawer fic. Today has been the last entry although we returned already on Sunday. I didn't count the words, but it's loooong. *g*
There's no need to edit me into older entries; just add me to the next tally.

I managed 2k of slavefic that were quite satisfyingly shippy, and then even did some origfic editing.

It sounds like you had a truly lovely day. You absolutely deserve rest and relaxation. :-)

I had a very busy, labor-filled day, but I did manage when I got home to write a 370 word poetic reflection on a private matter, very much a sort of catharsis and not meant for anyone's eyes but my own.

Now, I'm going to sluice off the day's sweat and read a mindless murder mystery!

I worked on my app, again (it's very slow-going), and that was pretty much it.
