Thank goodness it's finally weekend. I've been so exhausted and stressed most of the week, today when I got home I simply ate Chinese take-away and then went to rest, and could scarcely pry myself off the bed. I'm so glad I haven't got much programme this weekend so I can rest lots. I'm still a bit behind on the comments, but I'll try to catch up soon.

Writing

I had an idea for yet another original thing in the evening, and set out to write it, but actually producing words provided difficult - I've got 77 at the moment. Well, I might have to consider it bedtime now, I don't think my brain wants to be productive.

I had the same problem. Apparently all the DW code gets large on importing. XP

Yeah, this has happened to other people before. It's all the DW usernames - they get converted into rather a lot of html on LJ.

I asked last month, and esteliel explained to me what she did about that here, in case it's of any use to you ...

Thanks for the tip, I remember other people did something, but didn't remember what anymore. I'll try that with the next post, maybe. Now it was content when I removed the links to most of the earlier entries, but it would be nice to have things whole on DW, yes.

Just a random 200 assorted words from polishing my rare pair fics one last time. Ended up dropping that Big Bang so otherwise not doing so well at the up and go, but small word counts occasionally are something at least....

Thank you! And fortunately this weekend is almost completely free of any programme, other than seeing a ballet performance which is likely to recharge me, anyway. Today I've done little else than sleep so far. *g*

I know that state so well! *hugs* I felt a bit like this earlier this week due to the heat, although it's a different kind of exhaustion, of course; gone as soon as it cools down.
Sorry for being so chaotic this month; I fear I lost track again. I don't even remember the days I commented and those I didn't. *sigh*
I did write on every day, though; a few token words on the 22nd and 23rd and about 200 words + edition of drawerfic on the 24th and 25th. (I'm just so grateful I'm able to distract my mind with writing also just right now). There's no need to edit me into this or older posts, just put me into the next tally.

*hugs* I'm sorry you've been exhausted, too. At least heat isn't something we've had to complain about here (down to something like 12-14 °C now), but stress has been exhausting. And no worries, I'll edit you in.

Seems a lot more people are on this side this week than the other... so I'm coming over here, too.

I edited everything I have so far (1300 words) and fixed a lot of speech patterns - Black Sails is set in 17XX, so... damn it is hard to write for me.

Generally people have been moving more towards DW in the past months, but the difficulties with crossposting may be increasing it. Even if I've figured out a way around it for now.

Go you for the editing! And ouch, I feel for you - I used to mainly write historical fiction for my original stuff, and writing dialogue that feels right for the time period but alive, not like a pastiche out of classic novels, is hard. Good luck!
