Write Every Day, August Day #12

Today I attended a couple of more awesome panels, and in between slipped out for a picnic with friends, so it wasn't as tiring as being in the con a whole day. I also bought nice things I had not meant to buy. It's been good, but I think tomorrow I'll want a very quiet day.

Writing

Words took a long time to start coming, but in the end I managed nearly 700 words and finally finished my Rare Pair Fest fic draft. So now I'll be able to start editing it into shape! Considering the deadline is a week away, I'm glad to have a draft at last. It's missing a couple of bits, but hopefully I'll find those in the editing phase.

I did some outlining, and then wrote around 400 words of my slavefic. Not a lot of progress, but at least it's something!

I wrote a little poem to myself just now, about the Perseids and what it means to not watch them. It was a very long, sweaty, challenging day, but we’re a little closer to moving in, I hope.

Poetry, nice! Been too long since I wrote some myself. I haven't watched the Perseids either; last night was cast over, and anyway I would be too tired to stay up long enough. It's close to midnight before it gets dark here at this point of the year.

Checing in for days 10-12. I wrote every day and quite a bit on most of the days too. I have one my SA3 anthology fics finished, edited and sent in. The art for it is amazing! We have a small extension for the other, because the artist was struggling with personal life. But this is also as good as sent in now. \o/ AND I got in an exchange fic before deadline on Friday, so this was actually a productive few days. (Especially considering I just slept through most of yesterday, because I caught a cold... ^^;)
