Write Every Day, September Day #25

I accidentally broke my TARDIS teapot today. Or was it yesterday? I don't seem to remember which it was, anymore. Sad, but at least it had served nicely for a few years. It's the second teapot I've broken this month; it clearly isn't my month in some respects. Now I need a new teapot. Maybe I should buy one made of stone or metal... Of course I can make my tea in a mug, too, I just like having a bigger pot for when I sit down to read or write. Especially in this time of the year, when it's getting colder.

It would be a lovely night for a full moon walk if I had the energy to go outdoors. This time of the year, I always start considering if I could possibly afford binoculars. It's so lovely to stargaze (or moongaze) when the nights are properly dark again, even though the views aren't the best in a city. (But at least Finland has relatively small cities and clean air.)

Today's Writing

My writing today has been an assorted lot. A podcast I listened to inspired me to start working on my most-likely-novel-to-be again, and I did about 400 words of brainstorming and character notes on it, as well as engaging in a little research reading & notes thereof. I've also continued the canon review of my Femslash Exchange assignment, bouncing around my ideas for the story as I do so, but I don't think I can start writing before I'm done with the canon review. So no actual words there, but stuff that needs to be done, anyway. Finally, I returned to the fanfic that I was writing massive amounts of words for on Friday and Saturday, and continued at a more mellow pace of 641 new words for tonight.

I'd like to look at editing my femslashficlets challenge fics, but we'll see if I'm too tired already. I also need to finish tagging my Winter Companions fic on AO3 so I finally get it posted there... It's been sitting in my drafts for a week because I need to sort out that paragraph breaks are where they should be and not where they shouldn't be.
