Write Every Day, June Day #24

All right, we're at the last week of June now! Also, Pride Week over here - we'll see if I actually make it to any event. I do have my sights set on a LGBT themed museum tour, if I can make the timing work out.

I'm back home now. Was surprisingly tired upon returning - probably doesn't help I slept poorly on the last two nights - but have perked up for the evening. Once I've posted this, I'm going to watch the next episode of Good Omens that I haven't yet watched.

Today's Writing

I worked on the novel, researching online a bit for possible locations / places of origin, and making a good start at listing up a certain much-needed set of supporting characters. I've got fairly many notes there, and some supporting characters really came alive when I was working on it, so I created a couple of new supporting character profile sheets and filled out the things I thought of, as well as adding some things to other character notes. It was fun! I got at least a bit over 600 words on that sort of thing, might have been more.

I also finished my edits on the Wayfarers ficlet for the Cottoncandy bingo. Just need someone to look over it now before I post it. And yay, who_contest got an extension, so I can try to finish my fic...

I edited the first half of the H50 fic today/tonight. I'm glad to see it's holding together well, given that it began life as a short story and expanded into the behemoth it became.

I like having a strong sense of place, so working out where my characters are from geographically makes sense - less likely to need to stop for it while I'm writing. :-)

Woo hoo, well done for editing so much of the fic! (I never could do it that fast, I end up rewriting so much during my edits.)

Significant progress on the Twine game to make a chronological order of Miraculous Ladybug episodes. I'm up to the end of S2 now.

...I had to break up the Queen's Battle trilogy to make this work without a time loop, because if Queen's Battle is three consecutive episodes—instead of "Style Queen" and "Queen Wasp" back to back, then "Malediktator" rather later—well, "Malediktator" must be after "Anansi", which must be after "Frozer", which must be after "Reverser", which must be after "Queen Wasp", which is where the time loop comes in if "Queen Wasp" and "Malediktator" are back to back!

I started in on an assignment, realized I needed more information and sought it. Did some other revising as well, and wrote in other places. Not a lot of word count, but progress all the same.

I happen to have the same writing tally than the day before yesterday, same amount of editing and same word count (1122), just by chance. *g*
